Job summary

HUB International in the United States is seeking a Policy Service Associate to provide administrative and clerical support to our department. You will work with Account Managers to process client requests, endorsements, cancellations, and binders, and help maintain renewal files.

You’ll learn carrier quoting websites, grow toward independent tasks, and eventually manage your own book of business under a mentor. A high school diploma and at least two years of office experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
• At least 2 years of office/administrative experience.
• Insurance experience is preferred but not required.
• Must obtain a Property & Casualty license; HUB will pay for it.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to department members.

• Request worksheets and experience modifications at renewal; verify and maintain account files.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Policy Service Associate will provide administrative and clerical support to department members. Works directly with Account Managers to assist in processing client requests for service; processing endorsements, cancellations, and binders; requesting worksheets and experience modifications at renewal; verifying and maintaining account files. Assist with maintaining client relationships. Learning to use carrier websites for online quoting. Learning to become more independent and proficient at tasks performed for others for the purpose of serving clients directly in the future and handling own book of business. The Policy Service Associate takes primary direction from assigned mentor.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

You are perfect for this opportunity if you hold a high school diploma/GED (some college preferred), and at least 2 years of office/administrative experience. Insurance experience is preferred but not required, and you will be required to obtain a Property & Casualty license if you don't already have one which HUB will pay for you to acquire. We will allocate business hours to studying for this exam as well. Additionally, if you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment, and if you can hold your own while working on a computer (Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook), you will find our HUB culture a great fit.
