Job summary

  • Act as fiscal manager for assigned projects to ensure budget compliance and prevent overspending.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SCEIS; resume preferred but not required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for preparing requisitions, inventory supplies to include office, chemicals, and janitorial.
  • Preparing and entering commissary orders, receiving and reconciliation of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Fiscal year-end closeout, codes 21-20 forms for projects ensuring funds are available.
  • Serves as liaison with accounts payable, purchasing and SCDC vendors.
  • Serves as fiscal manager for assigned projects for the division of facilities management to ensure compliance with approved budget and avoid over expenditures and/or Inappropriate expenditures.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs and SCEIS.
  • Resume preferred, but not required.
Minimum And Additional Requirements

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

SCDC Minimum Requirements

  • A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
