Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking an administrative professional to support the Director/Emp Assist Program and the broader department. This role requires reliable routine admin duties and effective liaison work with customers, vendors, and community resources within a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, with keen attention to grammar, punctuation, and communication.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English with good grammar and punctuation.
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with well-developed organizational skills.
  • Capable of fast, accurate keyboard input and multitasking.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct administrative and operational support to the Director/Emp Assist Program (EAP).
  • Provides routine administrative and operational support to all other members of the department.
  • Liaises between customer/accounts, contacts, vendors, community resources, and the EAP.
  • First point of contact for EAP clients; pro-actively triages acuity levels and makes proper dispositions.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of diversity with I CARE values; contributes to a safe environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:



  • Provides direct administrative and operational support to the Director/Emp Assist Program (EAP).

  • Provides routine administrative and operational support to all other members of the department.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent


Preferred Education:



  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree


Required Experience:



  • Three (3) years of job-related experience


Preferred Experience:



  • Five (5) or more years of relevant job-related experience in healthcare settings.

  • Computer hardware and software knowledge.

  • Good knowledge of grammar and punctuation.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Expertise in Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Communicates effectively (verbally and in writing).

  • Keyboards 50 correct words per minute.

  • Well organized.

  • Detail oriented.
