Position Overview:

R+L Carriers is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Remote Administrative Assistant to support our operations and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, virtual environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a leading logistics company while enjoying the flexibility of remote, part-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to departmental managers and team leads
  • Handle data entry, document preparation, and digital filing with a high degree of accuracy
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate virtual conference calls
  • Assist in generating reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed
  • Manage internal communications and ensure timely distribution of information
  • Support HR, billing, or customer service teams with administrative tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience; logistics or transportation industry experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
