Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Provides front desk coverage to greet individuals and public, answer phone, document crisis calls and refer to crisis team as needed. Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties, in a fast-paced setting, to ensure the efficient operation of the departmentin accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Provides clerical support and assistance to clinicians to assure accurate documentation. Scan and enter health information into electronic health records system. Cross-trained to float to other service locations as needed.Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma required
  • College course work in Business Practice preferred
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an office setting doing a variety of clerical functions required
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/ or addiction issues desirable

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to speak a second language relevant to population served preferred
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
  • The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
