  • Perform general administrative duties and other related assignments as needed.

Help create a welcoming experience for the Hillsboro community at Hidden Creek Community Center (HCCC)! We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and adaptable Administrative Assistant who enjoys connecting with people and helping make our community a better place.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

Administrative Assistant

Acceptable Experience & Training
  • High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience.
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
Licenses & Certifications
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification required, or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire.
Work Environment & Schedule
  • This is a customer-facing position at Hidden Creek Community Center.
  • A minimum of one shift per week is required.
  • Early morning, late evening, and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
  • The position requires flexibility to respond to changing patron and facility needs.
  • Employees who work with children or in safety-sensitive assignments may be required to complete a drug test.

Bilingual Incentive Pay Available

Employees who can demonstrate the ability to speak Spanish, ASL, or any other language spoken by over 10% of the City residents as documented by the most recent U.S. Census, will receive a monthly 3% premium pay. The incentive is only paid on hours in paid status. Proficiency will be determined by a City-administered test.
