Telnet, Inc. is seeking a security professional to join our institutional security team. Under general supervision, you will perform security duties of average difficulty to protect people and property in a public facility setting.
The role involves screening and admitting patients, responding to emergencies, controlling access, recording incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement. The first weeks are 8-hour shifts M-F, with week 1 Fri-only, then 6p-7:30a shifts as needed.
Thefirst 2-3 weeks will be 8-hour shifts M-Fwith exception of week 1 which is Fri only with Human Resources.Employee will then transition to 6p-730a shifts.
Education and Experience: Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school; qualifying full-time law enforcement, security, or related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Other Requirements: A valid motor vehicle operator's license may be required for employment in some positions.
Under general supervision, the employee is responsible for institutional and related security work of average difficulty and performs related work as required. An employee in this class may be assigned to work any shift to provide a full range of institutional and other security activities, such as protecting public buildings.
