Job summary

Chemours Newark, Delaware is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Titanium Technologies team. You will provide high-level administrative and operational support to senior leaders, enabling efficient operations in a fast-paced research and development environment.

Key duties include calendar management, travel arrangements, SAP requisitions, purchase processing, onboarding, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, TEAMS, SAP.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-changing work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, site communications, and maintenance of distribution lists.
  • Create SAP requisitions, process purchases through SAP/Vroozi and P-card systems, and complete SAP Webcycles activities, including purchase order support and expediting.
  • Submit and track maintenance work requests for research teams.
  • Maintain office and stockroom supplies, ensuring inventory is replenished as needed.
  • Partner with the administrative network to share best practices and provide cross-functional support.
  • Support onboarding for employees by coordinating equipment, badges, system access, mobile devices, and corporate card requests.
  • Support contractor onboarding and administration, including requisitions, time approvals, and expense processing.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that simplify team and site operations.
  • Coordinate patent and trade secret recognition awards within the Titanium Technologies organization.

Chemours is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing Titanium Technologies team. This position will report directly to the Technical Senior Director at our state-of-the-art Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark, Delaware.

The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Technical Senior Director, Product Technology Leader, and Process Technology Leader for the Titanium Technologies business. This role is critical to enabling efficient operations across the product and process development teams, ensuring seamless execution in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Pay Range (in local currency): $29.40 - $45.94

Chemours Level: 22

Annual Bonus Target: 4%
