As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll handle all administrative and operational functions for the site while reporting to the location leader. You will wear many hats to support daily, monthly, and yearly productivity.
Pay: $20.00/hr
Shift(s):
- Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am (1st Shift)
- Friday - Sunday 5:00 pm – 5:00 am (2nd Shift)
Location: 8230 Plummer Street Bldg 3, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77029
Responsibilities
- Ensure office area and production floor areas are clean and organized
- Participate in safety and production meetings
- Accurately complete daily reporting and paperwork
- Communicate directly with On‑Site Manager regarding employee issues
- Ensure employees work safely and adhere to safety policies
- Answer the main phone, routing callers based on their needs
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate area or person
- Date‑stamp, review, and route all incoming mail
- Compose routine correspondence
- Organize, file, and maintain records, correspondence, and maintenance logs
- Assist employees with general administrative questions regarding employment, pay, benefits, etc.
- Perform data entry of facility business activity
- May perform basic financial data entry
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school preferred
- Three or more years of related administrative experience
- Spanish fluency is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Desire and ability to provide excellent customer service at all levels of the organization, including visitors and customers

Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location – ear protection is mandatory in several locations, and all employees in those locations must wear it in the production areas
- Eye protection must be worn in production areas of all locations
- Appropriate work clothing is required, including long pants and safety shoes
