  • Maintains appointment schedules for HOS/Academic Dean and organizes meetings, travel, and conferences.
  • Acts as project manager for special projects at the request of the HOS/Academic Dean.
  • Communicates proactively with stakeholders and handles multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Attends meetings, plans department events, and distributes school information to students, parents/guardians, and staff.

Job description

Anticipated start date is September 28, 2026.Position PurposeThe Administrative Assistant works under the supervision of the Head of School (HOS)/Academic Dean and is responsible for assisting with a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative tasks.Job DutiesUpholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website.Ensures that the HOS/Academic Dean are well informed of commitments, responsibilities, and other matters that require attention. Prioritizes conflicting needs and handles matters proactively and with timely professional communication with all relevant stakeholders. Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls.Maintains appointment schedules for both HOS/Academic Dean, and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, telecommunications, and conferences.Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special projects, at the request of the HOS/Academic Dean.
