Job summary

Colorado Early Colleges is seeking a Campus Culture Coordinator to support student safety and a respectful learning environment. You will supervise students, resolve disciplinary issues, and coordinate with staff, parents, and security to maintain order on campus.

Role involves contributing to safety drills, incident response, and threat assessments, while supporting the Head of School and Safe2Tell programs as needed. Must be adaptable to a fast-paced school setting.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in conflict resolution and restorative practices.
  • Experience engaging families and informing students about school rules.
  • Bilingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise students in cafeteria, common areas, hallways, and grounds.
  • Resolve behavioral issues and coordinate with staff, parents, and security as needed.
  • Maintain detailed disciplinary records and participate in safety drills.
  • Assist with Safe2Tell notifications and threat assessments.
  • Contribute to Incident Command team and school safety operations.

Job description

Anticipated start date is September 8th, 2026Position PurposeThe Campus Culture Coordinator works under the supervision of the Dean of Students and is responsible for providing for the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors.Job DutiesUpholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website.Employs CECs mission statement in all decisions.Provides supervision of students throughout the day, specifically in cafeteria, common areas, hallways, parking lot, and school grounds. Maintains radio communication with appropriate staff.Assists staff, students, and parents in resolving student behavioral and disciplinary problems in a consistent manner. Arranges meetings when appropriate with students, parents, and staff regarding disciplinary problems in school.Instructs and advises students regarding their responsibility to adhere to school rules and policies, to foster a safe school environment, and to respect other individuals and property. Assists in resolving conflict between students.Reports security issues, illegal/questionable activities, and student disciplinary actions to the Head of School. When appropriate, detains students for alleged misconduct and involves appropriate staff or law enforcement.Updates and maintains detailed student disciplinary records in IC in accordance with CEC policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.Additional responsibilities include working with the Head of School on Safe2Tell notifications and threat assessments; working closely with the Safety and Security Training Coordinator regarding safety drills, Emergency Operations Procedures manual, and other required safety and security trainings; and being a key member of the schools Incident Command team.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications2 years of experience in conflict resolution, restorative practices, family engagement.Bilingual is preferred.Conditions of EmploymentAll offers of employment are conditional upon a successful background check and references.As required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), the selected applicant must verify, within 72 hours of employment, his/her legal right to be employed in the United States.Fast-paced environment, employee must be flexibly in responding to request from staff or students.Colorado Early Colleges is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, marital status, religion, ancestry, or need for special education services.*Please note that we may begin reviewing applications and make hiring decisions prior to the application deadline.
