State of New Jersey in Trenton seeks an Administrative Analyst 4 for the Division of Water Quality, within the Department of Environmental Protection. You will collect and analyze data, oversee budgeting activities, and prepare monthly financial documents for State Revolving Fund financing.

The role also reports on EPA partnership and coordinates division communications and work plans, contributing to program improvements per executive directives.

Qualifications

• 7 years of professional experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating budget, organization, and administrative practices, or data processing applications.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting with 2 years of related experience.
• Degrees must be from an accredited college/university; foreign degrees require evaluation by a recognized service.
• Professional experience refers to creative, analytical, evaluative work with authority to act.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and analysis to track program outputs.
• Review and track budget-related and fiscal activities.
• Prepare monthly financial documents for State Revolving Fund financing.
• Produce EPA Performance Partnership reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external communication including website updates.
• Prepare and track division work plans.
• Assist in program improvement efforts aligned with DWQ missions and EO 2 & 5.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 3 years experience

Master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting + 2 years experience
