Job summary

Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo seeks an Administrative Analyst who will provide analytical and technical support to the Director of Residential Student Experience and senior Student Affairs leadership. The role focuses on budgeting, assessment, data analytics, and reporting to strengthen departmental operations and strategic initiatives.

The incumbent advises senior staff on programmatic goals, serves as a resource on policy and procedures, and supports or coordinates projects across the RSE team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of administrative concepts, practices, and procedures for researching, developing, evaluating policies, including data collection, evaluation, and interpretation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set own priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, and/or administrative specialty.
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to understand issues and assess impact from a broad, strategic perspective.
