The Human Resource (HR) Command is seeking a proactive and motivated Administrative Aide with positive customer service skills and the ability to service the public in a courteous, professional and helpful manner while assisting to fulfill the daily operations. The AdministrativeAide will provide departmental administrative support for all HR Command functional areas which may include receptionist duties, typing, processing, filing, reporting, and other related work/special projects as assigned.
The position is physically comfortable most of the time occasional periods of stooping, bending and/or light lifting of materials.
Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions as might be normally being acquired through attainment of a High School Diploma or a GED.
Two years of clerical or administrative experience are required.
**Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.**
