Under the direction of the Dean, the Administration & BusinessOperations Manager is responsible for overseeing theadministrative, finance, and IT functions of the College ofContinuing and Professional Education. This role ensures that theoperational needs of the College are met efficiently andeffectively, including managing human resources, finance,information technology, facilities, and general administrativesupport. This position plays a critical role in streamliningprocesses, improving organizational effectiveness, and supportingthe College's mission to provide high-quality programs.

This position is a strategic and collaborative leader withextensive experience overseeing financial, human resources,information technology, and administrative operations within acomplex organization. They possess strong expertise in financialplanning, budgeting, resource allocation, financial reporting,procurement, payroll, and contract management, with the ability toanalyze data, ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and drive long-termfiscal sustainability while supporting informed decision-making andoperational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is also a skilled human resources professionalwith experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, employeerelations, performance management, and organizational development.They serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, effectively guidingmanagers through personnel matters while fostering an inclusive,compliant, and high-performing workplace. They are committed toemployee development, engagement, and succession planning and areadept at implementing programs that support staff growth andorganizational success.
In addition, the candidate provides strategic leadership ininformation technology, leveraging technology to enhance academicprograms, student services, and business operations. They haveexperience leading digital transformation initiatives, overseeingIT infrastructure and enterprise systems, ensuring cybersecurityand data governance, and implementing technology solutions thatimprove efficiency, innovation, and data-informeddecision-making.
Complementing these strengths, the ideal candidate demonstrateseffective leadership in facilities and operations management,overseeing space planning, records management, vendor relations,emergency preparedness, and administrative processes. They arecommitted to maintaining safe, efficient, and well-managedoperations while continuously identifying opportunities to improveservices and support the College's mission and strategicgoals.

Sedentary work - Involves mainly sitting. Walkingand standing are minimal. Lifting is limited to lightweight objects(10 pounds or less).
