Job summary

Calyx Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Administrator in Training to be mentored into an Executive Director, overseeing operations, resident care, staffing and regulatory compliance across new communities in the Triangle. The program develops leadership while maintaining full occupancy and high service standards.

You will serve as second in command at multiple communities, completing a structured curriculum over 6 to 18 months to obtain licensure, with a strong passion for seniors guiding

Qualifications

• Meets NC Administrator in Training program requirements within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
• Experience directing and supervising a team, including hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Passion for working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Pursue the training curriculum and licensing requirements to become a licensed Executive Director in an assisted living community.
• Develop the skills to manage day-to-day operations including service delivery, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, staffing, and sales.
• Maintain resident satisfaction while keeping full occupancy and ensuring quality care and a happy, engaging community.
• Build relationships with residents’ families, the community, and the employees you help lead.
• Ensure the community operates according to Calyx’s policies and government regulations.
• Support HR functions including hiring, retention, staffing and leadership of the department head team.
• Raise awareness of the services Calyx Living can offer residents and their families.
