Job summary

A community service organization in New York City is seeking a full-time administrative support professional. In this role, you will provide clerical support, manage correspondence, and maintain filing systems. Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide administrative and clerical support to staff in order to facilitate the efficient operation of the program. Primary functions will include: answering main phone system, typing correspondence, preparing specialized reports and schedules, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Fire Safety and First Aid/CPR certification or the ability to pass test to acquire these credentials required. Related duties as assigned.

Hours

Full-time 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm
Qualifications

At least two years experience performing secretarial and administrative functions, in an office setting, or at least two years of college/Associates degree in related discipline. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to work in a non-conventional office environment. Have knowledge of MS office systems, Word and Excel.

  • Vaccination preferred but not required.
