Colorado State University’s Department of Psychology is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to support staff, faculty, and students. The role handles inquiries, scheduling, records, forms, and department communications, including textbook adoption and social media updates.

The Admin Assistant I for the department of psychology will serve as the first point of contact as well as provide admin support for staff, faculty and students. They will assist in textbook adoption process for all department classes. They will also support the department in providing social media updates and advertising materials.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Psychology Department for students, faculty, staff, and visitors by responding to inquiries, providing information, and connecting individuals with appropriate departmental resources and services.
Provide administrative support for departmental operations, including scheduling appointments, coordinating room reservations, maintaining records, processing forms, and preparing departmental correspondence and documents.
Assist students and faculty with academic and administrative processes, including course overrides, special studies requests, and other student support functions.
Manage departmental key access by coordinating key requests, maintaining key inventory records, and supporting annual key audits and compliance requirements.
Coordinate textbook adoption processes by collecting course material requests, submitting textbook orders through university systems, and communicating with instructors, publishers, and the bookstore.
Develop, maintain, and update departmental social media platform communications to promote programs, events, and departmental achievements.
Create and distribute informational materials for current and prospective students to support recruitment, engagement, and awareness of departmental programs and services.
