HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Case Management Administrative Assistant to support discharge planning and post-acute services. The CMA will assist in coordinating discharges under RN Case Manager or Social Worker supervision and provide essential administrative support, including room-side engagement with patients.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, healthcare experience, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate Degree preferred
• Medical/Terminology knowledge required
• Minimum of one year experience in healthcare setting required
• Healthcare professional (CNA/PCT/EMT) preferred

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Case Management Assistant (CMA) will work under the direction of the RN Case Manager or Social Worker to assist with facilitating patient discharges requiring post-acute placement or services, and will identify and report barriers to discharges. The CMA will provide administrative support in Case Management functions. The CMA must be comfortable going into patient rooms.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree preferred
• Medical/Terminology knowledge required
• Minimum of one year experience in healthcare setting required
• Healthcare professional (CNA/PCT/EMT) preferred

Looking for weekday day shift coverage - Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 10:00AM to 2:00PM

No weekend or evening/night requirements
