Job summary

Everforth Apex offers a highly analytical Business Process Analyst role located in Denver, CO (onsite 5 days a week) with additional locations in Chicago, IL or Washington, DC. The contract length is 12 months with potential extension, and compensation is $66/hour.

The role focuses on documenting current-state processes, analyzing data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across cybersecurity technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business analysis, project support, or related disciplines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret data.
  • Experience creating process maps, workflows, visual documentation, and business process artifacts.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate information into clear, actionable deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain process maps, detailed work instructions, and other process documentation.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting current-state and future-state workflows.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to collect requirements and understand business challenges.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using structured quality methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting to measure process performance and support data-driven decision making.
  • Support change implementation activities, including communication materials, training documentation, and adoption tracking.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure process improvements align with business objectives, operational controls, and delivery priorities.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify work, improve consistency, and increase operational effectiveness.

Business Process Analyst

Location: Denver, CO, Chicago, IL or Washington, DC (Onsite 5 days a week - REQUIRED)

Contract length: 12 months (Possibility for extension)

Rate: $66/hour

Role Overview

This role is for a highly analytical professional with problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an interest in continuous improvement. The Process Design Analyst will contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance user experience, and support the delivery of cybersecurity technology solutions across the organization. As a Process Design Analyst, you will support process improvement and operational transformation initiatives. Working with senior process design consultants and business stakeholders, you will help document current-state processes, analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop process artifacts that support more effective, consistent, and scalable ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain process maps, detailed work instructions, and other process documentation.

Required Qualifications
Experience
  • Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business analysis, project support, or related disciplines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret data.
  • Experience creating process maps, workflows, visual documentation, and business process artifacts.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate information into clear, actionable deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio or other process modeling tools.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Relationship-building and people skills; must be a team player and a good listener.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Horizon JIRA/Confluence is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or quality methodologies is preferred (certifications ideal).
  • Experience supporting technology, information security, risk, compliance, or operational functions is preferred.
