Job summary

A prominent IT staffing company is seeking a skilled scientist for a contractor position in the ADME group. The role involves supporting pre-clinical studies related to biotherapeutics. Responsibilities include sample preparation for PK studies, handling of biological samples, and performing under minimal supervision. Candidates should hold a BS/MS in Biochemistry, Biology, or related fields, and experience in biopharma and handling radioactive materials is preferred. Strong communication skills and collaboration abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in biopharma preferred.
• Experience using radioactive materials (125I, 111In) is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IACUC, animal use protocols, PKPD study design and concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independent sample preparation and analysis for PK/drug studies using gamma counter detection.
• Handling of biological samples, preclinical serum and tissues.
• Summarization and documentation of experiments.
