Job summary

ISUZU TECHNICAL CENTER OF AMERICA INC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Automated Driving Kit (ADK) and its integration into vehicles. You will develop system requirements, MBSE models, interfaces, and traceability across ADK, vehicle control interface, and chassis, while addressing SOTIF and cybersecurity considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum three years of experience in systems engineering, MBSE, or automotive systems.
• Foundational knowledge of MBSE, SysML, and functional safety (ISO 26262).
• Understanding of ADK concepts including perception, localization, planning, and vehicle interfaces is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains ADK/ADS system requirements, use cases, interfaces, states, and traceability across ADK and vehicle subsystems.
• Supports MBSE activities and SysML modeling across system architecture and allocation of requirements.
• Incorporates safety, SOTIF, and cybersecurity considerations into system requirements and analyses.
• Collaborates with verification teams to define verification methods and test coverage for safety assurance.
• Documents decisions, rationale, issues, and status; coordinates with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
