Job description
Technical Recruiting Manager at KYYBA Inc
Automated Design (ADS) Engineer
Who we’re looking for
Detail-driven Systems Engineer who can own requirements, lead DRBFM, and drive action-item closure across stakeholders. You’ll pair systems thinking with hands‑on software and test integration to help deliver the next generation of automated driving systems.
What you’ll be doing
Own system requirements. Capture, decompose, and maintain traceable, testable requirements from concept through release; manage baselines and change control.
Lead DRBFM. Plan, facilitate, and document DRBFM sessions; translate risks into design actions and verification plans; ensure timely closure.
Design with developers. Work with ADS software engineers to shape control/decision logic (C/C++), align interfaces, and incorporate safety concepts into design.
Integrate and verify. Coordinate SIL/HIL/vehicle-level testing; ensure system requirements integrate cleanly to software components and different ECUs specs.
Requirements
Coding exercise will be required for the candidate to complete if they are selected to move forward in the interview process. Coding is not a requirement for the role however it is listed as HIGHLY DESIRED from this team. This team requires someone who can understand the system level, requirements and documentation.
What you bring
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Automotive background (ADAS/ADS, chassis, powertrain, or similar safety‑critical domain). (3 years)
Systems experience managing requirements and interfaces for complex embedded/vehicle systems and respective tooling such as JAMa, JIRA/Azure DevOps for tracking. (3 years)
Hands‑on DRBFM leadership and follow‑up through verified closure. (3 years)
Software literacy: C/C++ fundamentals; ability to read code and collaborate effectively with developers. (3 years)
Networking: Working knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet and related tooling. (3 years)
Documentation: Clear, concise spec and requirements writing with strong attention to traceability and version control. (3 years)
