HCTC’s Community, Workforce and Economic Development department offers customized short‑term business and industry training, technical skills upgrades, training assistance to industry, Lineman and CDL training, CPR as well as Proprietary and Community Education programs.

Job Duties

Provide instruction in a variety of course formats for required workforce trainings/education.

Minimum Qualifications

Dependent upon area of specialty – Certification may be required – (Technical Training, Electrical Training, Quality Assurance, OSHA, Computer Training, Professional Development for Supervisors & Teams, Foreign Language Courses, CDL Training, Lineman Training and Pre‑Licensing, Certification & Continuing Education Programs in Insurance, Master and Journeyman HVAC License, Electrical Contractor, Master Electrician and Electrician, Plumbing License – Master & Journeyman Plumbing Code Class and Welding Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is a plus but not required.
