Frederick Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Veterinary Assistant Program to support the Continuing Education and Workforce Development Healthcare Careers Department. The role develops NAVTA-aligned lectures and labs to prepare students for a 100-hour clinical externship.
Ideal candidates hold a DVM or RVT license, can craft curriculum using NAVTA guidelines, and demonstrate strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
This position supports the Veterinary Assistant Training program under the Continuing Education and Workforce Development Healthcare Careers Department. The adjunct instructor prepares students for work as a veterinary assistant through the development of engaging lectures and interactive classroom labs following essential curriculum standards outlined by National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA).
