Required Degree

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Degree must be in elementary education or early childhood education, science education, or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience

Expertise in science education at elementary and/or early childhood education levels. Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties/Expectations
  • Primary instructor for Teaching Science Pre-K-3 course for early childhood education program (ECE 446).
  • Candidate MUST be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
  • Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university.

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
