Job summary

Del Mar College invites applications for an Adjunct - Sound Recording Technology Pool. The department may schedule courses in Audio Recording and Editing, Live Sound, MIDI and Synthesis, Audio for Video, and related subjects, taught day or evening as needed.

Applicants must have an Associate degree in a Recording Arts related field and at least three years of full-time audio industry experience. This is an adjunct, stipend position with opportunities to contribute to student learning and course

Qualifications

Associates degree in a Recording Arts related field.
Minimum of three (3) years full-time audio industry experience (studio, live sound, music business).

Responsibilities

Periodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and develop.
Be available to students for coaching.
Mantains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlines.
Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomes.
Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
Evaluates and grades students’ class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinations.
Deliver course content to enrolled students.
