Grand Canyon University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty to share expertise with our Nursing students. The role requires travel within the Miramar/Miami, FL area to directly observe student performance during clinical rotations.

You will reinforce didactic content, collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document progress, participate in grading, and stay current with nursing practice trends while upholding accreditation standards and GCU’s values.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred.
• BSN with proof of at least 9 credits/3 classes in any graduate program OR approved national certification related to the content area being taught.
• 2 years' recent clinical work experience in nursing.
• Active, current, unencumbered multi-state RN license.
• Must pass a drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.

• Remain current with new trends and development in the specific field of nursing practice
• Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
• Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University
• Travel to GCU student sites, directly observing student performance
• Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What you need
