Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sports medicine, injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, rehabilitation, and related areas.
• Ability to effectively teach and mentor undergraduate students.
• Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC).
• Current or eligibility for Florida Athletic Training licensure.
• Previous college/university teaching experience.
• Clinical experience in athletic training or sports medicine.
• Master’s degree is the minimum credential.

Job Summary: The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a qualified Adjunct, Rehabilitation Sciences, to teach undergraduate courses within the Sports Medicine program. This is a part-time, as-needed appointment that supports the department in achieving program and student learning outcomes. This is an undergraduate instructional position; therefore, a master’s degree is the minimum required academic credential.
