Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking an Adjunct to teach reading-related courses within the Department of Communications, Languages and Reading. The role includes teaching developmental reading or integrated reading/writing, assessing student performance, and contributing to curriculum review and improvement.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Reading or related field with teaching experience or graduate hours, and be able to plan instruction using diverse teaching styles to accommodate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Reading or related field with one year teaching experience or six graduate hours.
• Ability to plan course instruction based on approved syllabus and objectives.
• Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.
• Must reside in Texas and be eligible to work in the United States, as per the special instructions.
