Brigham Young University in Utah seeks an adjunct instructor to teach CPSE 647: Psychometrics and Intelligence, in person on Mondays 8:00–11:50 am during Winter Semester 2027. The course covers theory, administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized cognitive, academic, and adaptive measures, with an overview of neuropsychological assessment of autism and ADHD.

Applicants should hold a graduate degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling Psychology; licensed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional psychoeducational/psychological assessment with children and adolescents.
• Experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and communicating results from standardized cognitive, academic, and adaptive behavior assessments.
• Experience with neuropsychological assessment of autism and ADHD is required.

Responsabilités

• Teach CPSE 647 in person, Mondays 8am–11:50am, during Winter Semester, Jan 6–Apr 14, 2027.
• Prepare graduate students to understand foundational psychometric concepts and cognitive, academic, adaptive assessments.
• Teach and evaluate student competencies in standardized test administration, scoring, interpretation, and synthesis of findings.
• Promote culturally responsive, ethical, and clear communication of findings to families and educators.
