Job summary

Adjunct, Psychology – Part time

Overview

Position Summary and Qualifications: The Saint Joseph's Psychology Department is a highly productive group of scholars and teachers. We seek highly qualified adjunct instructors to staff one or two courses each semester on an 'as needed' basis. Courses may be offered weekdays, evenings, and/or online. Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach assigned courses, prepare course materials, and provide support and guidance to students.

• Use university learning management systems to deliver instruction
• Submit grades
• Offer one hour of office hours each week for each course

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology (or advanced degree in another discipline) and teaching experience
• Preferred: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in experimental or clinical psychology with substantial university-level teaching experience
• Flexible availability for day, evening, and/or online teaching

Compensation

Adjunct compensation is commensurate with educational credentials, professional experience, and instructional background.
