Job summary

Radford University invites applications for Adjunct Position-Appalachian Studies at the Radford City Campus. Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate courses in the candidate’s specialization and are appointed for three years with renewal by the Dean, without tenure.

Responsibilities include teaching Face-to-face classes on the Radford University Campus and being evaluated in every course, including summer session.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Master’s degree and experience in Appalachian studies.
• In some cases, notable experience may substitute for the degree with Provost approval.
• Teaching experience and familiarity with course management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Appalachian studies at Radford University.
• Conduct face-to-face classes on the Radford campus.
• Adjunct appointments may be renewed by the Dean and are three-year appointments without tenure.
