Seattle Pacific University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach biology courses to non‑majors, introductory biology, and anatomy & physiology.

Responsibilities

Teach in an interactive, participatory learning environment; develop inclusive, engaging curricula; integrate authentic research experiences into the general biology lab curriculum; mentor students and support their academic and personal goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biology or a related field (Bachelor’s degree considered).
• Commitment to active learning experiences in the classroom.
• Personal commitment to Christian faith, enthusiasm for supporting SPU’s mission, alignment with the University’s Statement of Faith, and willingness to accept community lifestyle standards.

Compensation

Starts at $900 per credit.
