Job summary

Austin Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty, Pharmacy Technician. This role teaches on campus and in distance learning modalities, including simulation and clinical experiences, across ACC campuses. You will prepare engaging coursework reflecting student success and belonging for all.

The candidate should have 2+ years of pharmacy-related work experience, and hold the required education with active Texas registration. Travel to ACC campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in pharmacy or pharmacy technician; or a baccalaureate degree with current TSBP registration as pharmacist or technician; technician requires PTCB or NHA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach courses in Pharmacy Technician to a multicultural student population based on course outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback reflecting outcomes and expectations.
• Provide teaching and mentoring without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, etc.
