Qualifications
- BSN required.
- Current Michigan RN licensure or eligibility.
- Three years clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to mentor nursing students in clinical settings.
- Commitment to learner-centered instruction and continuous improvement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with information technology and computer use.
Responsibilities
- Instruct nursing courses including clinic, lab, and simulation.
- Develop syllabi outlining expectations, standards, policies and learning objectives.
- Design and deliver assessments of course and program outcomes.
- Maintain attendance records, grades and documentation.
- Ensure ethical standards and safety in learning environments.
- Collaborate with lab assistants and student workers as needed.
