Job description

• Teach and supervise nursing students in classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical settings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing


• Master’s Degree in Nursing (or actively enrolled) in an ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program


• 3 years teaching in a classroom or clinical setting


• RN — Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania upon hire


• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


• Knowledge of FERPA


• Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students


• Demonstrates interest and respect for students


• Demonstrates commitment to life-long learning


• Demonstrates respect, collegiality, professionalism, and caring in relations with administration, staff, colleagues, and students


• Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs.


• Frequent to continuous standing/walking


• Ability to perform role-specific activities including kneeling, bending, squatting, and CPR as required
