Job summary

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is recruiting an Adjunct for Nurse Aide Training, delivering both classroom and online instruction and serving as a role model for students. The position supports the College's mission and values and reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing.

Position varies by semester and is part-time; the role requires unencumbered RN license in Ohio, with at least two years of nursing experience including long-term care, and teaching or trainer program

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Ohio RN Nursing License
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, at least one in long-term care facility services
• Certification Nurse Aide Train the Trainer Program OR equivalent supervision/teaching experience in long-term care or teaching adults

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning-centered instruction and establish a conducive classroom environment
• Prepare all course materials and lessons; adjust preparation time based on experience
• Provide clear course expectations, evaluations, and timelines with approved syllabus
• Design and grade examinations to assess course objectives
• Maintain records of student progress and submit final grades and exams on time
• Consult with academic chairs and College personnel on curricula and policies
