Responsibilities include delivering hands-on instruction, reviewing coding scenarios, and providing timely feedback. Candidates must hold AAPC CPC certification, with 5+ years in medical coding and prior teaching.

Qualifications

Demonstrated healthcare coding competence and auditing experience.
Proficient with ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS, and documentation guidelines.
Hold an AAPC CPC Certification.
Ability to design lesson plans aligning objectives with outcomes.
Experience with CPMA exam content and formats.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Create a learning environment that facilitates students’ acquisition of knowledge and skills.
Align activities with course outcomes and employ active learning strategies.
Deliver instruction and assess student learning within the course.
Teach in day, evening, or weekend sessions as needed.
Hold at least one office hour per week per course.
