Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Relevant certifications (HAAS, technical training) encouraged
• Minimum 5 years machining experience
• Proficient in manual machining and equipment (lathes, grinders, mills)
• Basic knowledge of CNC a plus
• Ability to teach both theory and hands-on skills

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Precision Machining with emphasis on hand tools and manual machining
• Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction using hands-on demonstrations and lectures
• Cover machine tool theory, safety, blueprint reading and layout
• Prepare students for possible NIMS and other industry certifications
• Utilize LMS for documentation, tracking and assessment; develop lessons and assignments
