Adjunct Lead Instructor (as needed) on campus. Similar job titles include: Teacher, IT Instructor, Computer Instructor, CompTIA Certification Instructor, Professor, and Technology teacher.

Schedule: Mon–Thu, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm CST

Hourly rate: $35.00/hr

What You Will Be Doing

Teach assigned cohort(s) of students in the assigned delivery methodologies, covering courses in rotation: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft AZ-900, AI-900, and Linux Essentials (LPI 10-160).
Model and cultivate a team culture of excitement and passion for changing student lives.
Provide motivational leadership for instructors and students, focusing on respect and exemplary behavior.
Facilitate an organized, informed, engaging classroom experience that encourages retention, course completion, and certification.
Use various communication tools (phone, chat, email, text, video, or in-person) to coach Students of Concern.
Respond timely and accurately to student questions and concerns.
Encourage student commitment to the program and achievement of outcomes, including certification readiness.
Deliver curriculum and instructional activities that prepare students to take their certification exams.
Establish and communicate clear learning objectives per the published syllabus.
Maintain discipline and manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.
Provide constructive feedback to enhance the academic and training program.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field; or a combination of education and work experience.
A minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in the IT industry (within the last 10 years) is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with classroom and online instruction is preferred.
Candidates with a different combination of technical training experience and practical work experience will be considered.
