Job Description Summary

Candidates should be passionate educators and practitioners who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners who aspire to practice in their respective field. Broward College places special importance on helping under‑prepared students achieve academic success. Candidates should demonstrate:

Minimum Education

• Master's Degree in Art, Fine Art, or Studio Art OR Master’s Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Art, Fine Art, or Studio Art. Ph.D. preferred.

Minimum Experience / Training

• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.

• Salary: $2,181.00 – $2,386.02 for a 3‑credit class; $38.94 – $42.60 hourly rate for studio classes; salary commensurate with education and experience.
