Des Moines Area Community College is seeking an Adjunct Speech Communication Instructor to teach face-to-face courses for Spring Semester 2027 at Des Moines Metro locations.

The position requires a Master of Speech or Communications or any master’s degree with 12 graduate semester credits in Speech Communication; daytime classes will be scheduled.

Qualifications

• Master of Speech or Communications or any master’s degree with 12 graduate semester credits in Speech Communication.
• Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.
• Teaching experience.
