Job summary

Lamar State College-Port Arthur is looking for an Adjunct Social Media & Digital Communications Management Instructor to enhance program visibility and engage with students. Responsibilities include promoting the program, teaching in various settings (campus, online, and dual enrollment), and maintaining curriculum development involvement. Required are a Bachelor’s degree with three years of experience in social media services, alongside proficiency in standard software. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and teaching experience in higher education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Media Industry Studies or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience providing social media services.
• Work independently in the classroom.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Possess time management and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
