Job summary

Minnesota State College Southeast invites applications for a Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor. The successful candidate will teach in a student-centered learning community, delivering classroom, web-enhanced and online instruction while mentoring students and conducting classroom-based research and assessments.

The role requires a nursing degree and MN RN licensure, with professional nursing experience and a focus on cross-cultural perspectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing if the graduate degree is not in Nursing.
  • Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse (RN) with current registration in Minnesota.
  • Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level.
  • Recency: One year of this work experience shall be within the five years preceding the date of application; waiver if two years of teaching experience in credential field within last five years.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom, web-enhanced and/or online course instruction.
  • Conduct classroom research and other assessment/evaluation activities.
  • Mentor and advise student.
