Job summary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills appropriate for instruction in undergraduate courses in physics and physical science.
  • Ability to use university systems and learning platforms for course communication, attendance reporting, and submission of midterm and final grades (training provided).
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with both traditional and non-traditional university students.
  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and personal accountability in instructional responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills necessary for course preparation, grading, and student communication.
  • Experience using a variety of instructional strategies and educational technologies in face-to-face and online environments to support student success and learning among diverse populations.
Experience:

Previous high school or university teaching preferred.

Education:

Master’s Degree required (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Physics)

Additional Information:

Available for Fall and Spring semesters on site at the main campus in Lebanon, TN.
