Job summary

Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee seeks seasonal adjunct instructors to teach Physical Education courses. This is a part-time contract with the possibility for renewal, with the main responsibility to teach swimming courses as needed.

You will teach 3–9 hours of education-based courses and demonstrate strong supervisory and leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and professional interpersonal and organizational abilities; proficiency with Blackboard and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 graduate-level credit hours in an area that aligns with the program requirements.
• First Aid/CPR/AED and Water Safety Instructor certifications a plus
• Previous college teaching experience is highly encouraged.
• Evidence of teaching potential is essential.
• The ability to life a minimum of 50lb.
• Position may require sitting for extended time, some walking and the ability to climb stair 1% of the time.

Position Overview:

Lane College is seeking seasonal adjunct instructors to teach Physical Education courses. This is a part‑time contract with the possibility for renewal. Main responsibility is to teach swimming courses according to departmental need.
