Salary: Compensation is competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and discipline, in accordance with university guidelines and available funding.

Position Overview

The Department of Counseling & Higher Education seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. The specific courses involved may vary from semester.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in counseling or related field.
  • Teaching experience in counseling or counselor education program.
  • Teaching experience in counseling.
  • MASTER level CACREP core classes or electives - must hold a PhD
  • UNDERGRADUATE level - must hold a Master's degree. Counseling Program MASTER level CACREP core classes or electives and/or undergrad counseling associate studies minor program classes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in counseling from a CACREP accredited program;
  • TX Licensed Professional Counselor and/or certified School counselor, TX LPT-Supervisor.
