Brief Description

The Science & Mathematics Department at Simpson University, Redding, CA, is seeking candidates to join the adjunct instructor pool for Chemistry for the 2023-2024 academic year. Currently, the department welcomes applications for instructors with the qualifications to teach introductory or general chemistry lecture and/or lab courses for our pre-nursing, biology, kinesiology, and engineering students. Note that an appointment in one semester is not a guarantee of an appointment in a subsequent semester.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.S. in Chemistry, or related field.
• Deliver courses in-person at the Redding campus.
• Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
• Work with a diverse student body population.
• Express an effusive Christian faith based in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
