Job summary

Utah Valley University is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in Modern Technique and Theory, Composition, Improvisation, Dance As An Art Form, Dance Conditioning, or other somatic practices. This on-site role is based at the UVU Main Campus in Orem.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering approved courses, preparing instructional materials, evaluating student learning, maintaining a student-centered approach, and timely submission of grades and departmental materials.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma with teaching and/or professional experience in modern dance.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a BS, BA, and teaching experience, or an MFA and graduate teaching experience.
